These controllers also feature our ergonomic Rear Buttons, and can enable you to input complex movement techniques while keeping your thumbs on the sticks. Some high-level techniques make it easier to Aim and Fire while repositioning. The rear buttons for these controllers are placed in the Standard position.
SmartPad controllers also come with Battle Beaver's patented Smart Triggers & Smart Bumpers. The Triggers and Bumpers have been improved by converting the traditional squish or pull of these inputs to an instant 100% activation "click" that feels identical to a computer mouse.
SmartPads additionally have converted Smart Face Buttons (Triangle, Circle, Cross, Square) and D-Pad for separate digital inputs utilizing the same 'clicks' in the Triggers and Bumpers.
Additionally, the PS4 SmartPad controller has been upgraded with USB-C connectivity. This upgraded port on the controller allows for faster charging, provides a more stable wired connection, and reduces cable clutter.
