1. Right of Withdrawal (online purchases)
As a consumer, you have the legal right to cancel your purchasewithin 14 calendar daysafter receiving your order, without giving a reason.
How do you withdraw?
Send an email towebsite@gamegear.bestating:
- Your name and address
- Order number
- The product you wish to return
- The statement that you are exercising your right of withdrawal
You may also use the statutory model withdrawal form (see at the bottom of this page).
After your notification, you have another14 calendar daysto effectively return the product.
Return conditions
- The product is complete (original undamaged packaging, accessories, documentation)
- The product shows no signs of damage from use beyond what is necessary to assess it
- You include a copy of your order confirmation
Note:You may try a product as you would in a shop. Extensive use that reduces the value of the product may result in a partial refund.
Return costs
Thedirect costs of returning the itemare the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise stated at the time of order.
2. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal doesnotapply to:
2.1 Custom PCs (custom builds)
Products that have been assembled or customised at the express request of the customer — such as a custom gaming PC with specifications chosen by you — areexcluded from the right of withdrawal(Art. VI.53, 3° WER).
This applies as soon as Gamegear has started the assembly. You will be informed of this upon confirmation of your order.
2.2 Sealed products
Products with a seal that cannot be returned for hygienic or health reasons once the seal has been broken (e.g. certain headsets or in-ears).
2.3 Already downloaded digital content
Digital products or licenses that you have already activated or downloaded after your express consent.
3. Refund
After receiving and checking the returned product, we will refund you:
- Within 14 calendar daysafter receiving the product (or after proof of return, whichever is earlier)
- Viathe same payment methodas the original purchase
- Including thestandard shipping costs you paidat the time of ordering (not for express delivery)
We may delay the refund until we have received the product or you have provided proof of return.
4. Defective or incorrect products
Did you receive a product that is damaged, defective or incorrect? Contact usas soon as possibleviawebsite@gamegear.bewith photos and your order number.
In that case:
- We willcoverthe return costs
- We will send a replacement product or issue a full refund
- The normal legal terms apply (see Legal Warranty below)
5. Legal Warranty
As a consumer, you have the right to alegal warranty of 2 yearson all new products (Art. VI.48 WER). This is in addition to — not instead of — any manufacturer’s warranty.
- Defects that occurwithin 1 yearafter delivery are presumed to have existed at the time of delivery, unless proven otherwise.
- After 1 year, you must demonstrate that the defect existed at the time of delivery.
Demo products (second chance)
For official demo products (returned products in perfect condition, opened packaging) there is astatutory warranty of 1 year, in accordance with Art. VI.48 §3 WER for second-hand products. This is clearly stated on the product page.
6. How to initiate a return?
- Send an emailtowebsite@gamegear.bewith your order number and reason
- Wait for confirmation— we will provide you with the return address and further instructions
- Send the product backwithin 14 days of your notification
- Receive your refundwithin 14 days of receipt
